Synthèse
The modern workplace is undergoing profound transformations driven by technological innovation, AI integration, economic pressures, and demographic shifts that are fundamentally changing how work is performed, where it occurs, and what roles workers fulfill. These changes create significant challenges for organizations, including adapting to new technologies, redefining job roles, managing human-robot interactions, and addressing ethical concerns around privacy and discrimination.
This special issue seeks interdisciplinary research that examines the multifaceted dimensions of the future of work by integrating perspectives from human resource management, sustainability, organizational psychology, and technology studies. The collection aims to provide theoretical insights and empirical evidence about how technological, organizational, and societal changes shape worker attitudes and workplace interactions, and how organizations can develop resource-efficient and socially responsible practices.
