Synthèse

The call addresses how nations can achieve sustainable economic growth amid global challenges including slowing growth, resource constraints, and social inequality. Traditional growth models that rely on resource consumption have failed to balance economic development with environmental and social concerns. The international community has established Sustainable Development Goals that require integrating economic growth with resource conservation, environmental protection, and social inclusion.

Research is needed to explore managerial economics and strategic approaches to sustainable growth, including digital and green transformation, innovative economic models, and policies that promote efficient resource use, low-carbon technologies, and environmental justice. This special issue welcomes submissions that examine how management and economics can address contemporary sustainability challenges across various sectors and contexts.
