The issue seeks provocative and well-considered arguments addressing how organizational, managerial, and policy frameworks shape policing legitimacy, equity, performance, and accountability across different contexts and governance systems.
The audience comprises an interdisciplinary community of academics and professionals interested in policing from organizational, managerial, governance and public policy perspectives. Contributors may draw on world practice and experience to examine questions ranging from police-community partnerships and resource management to civilian oversight and the governance of private security provision.
