This special issue examines how data intelligence and advanced technologies are transforming e-commerce enterprises. The rapid integration of big data analytics and AI with e-commerce has enabled innovations such as dynamic pricing, personalized recommendations, and optimized supply chains. However, challenges remain in handling massive data volumes, processing both structured and unstructured data, and differentiating competitive offerings through algorithms.

The special issue seeks research addressing current bottlenecks in data-driven e-commerce, including operational efficiency improvements, data processing complexity, and reducing over-reliance on historical data. Contributions should explore how emerging technologies like AI and generative AI can enhance recommendation systems, marketing strategies, and cross-channel retail integration while overcoming algorithm homogenization issues.
