Synthèse

This special issue marks the tenth anniversary of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by examining how hospitality and tourism research has engaged with the SDG framework since 2015. Although tourism encompasses all 17 SDGs either directly or indirectly, a significant research gap remains: many studies investigate sustainability themes without explicitly aligning their work to specific SDG targets or omit the SDG lens entirely. This disconnect hampers the sector's ability to measure progress and influence policy.
