Synthèse

Modern supply chains face unprecedented disruptions while simultaneously confronting environmental limits and resource scarcity. This requires a fundamental transformation toward more responsive and circular systems. Digital technologies including IoT, AI, digital twins, and blockchain are critical enablers for building resilient supply chains that adapt quickly to change while reducing resource consumption and closing material loops.

The special issue seeks papers demonstrating how digital and data-driven solutions implement these responsive and circular supply chains, along with their associated business models. Contributions should explore digital technologies across multiple supply chain tiers, with particular emphasis on industry-specific applications and the integration of responsiveness, servitization, and sustainability goals.
