Global peace is needed now more than ever, yet "peace" still fails to feature in mainstream business and society debates. For over 20 years, "business and peace" has led this debate in business and management studies. Business and peace has generated a broad array of research studies that link business activity to peacebuilding; however, the high volume of descriptive, case-based, and practice-based research in the field, combined with the growing number of parallel contributions to conflict and peace-related topics in general management studies, presents challenges for moving a coherent debate on peace and business forward.
