Synthèse

This special section seeks research that bridges laboratory-based psychological science with real-world contexts and consequential behavior. While researchers have identified many important psychological processes, much existing work isolates these processes from the social and ecological environments where they actually operate. The special section aims to advance understanding of how psychological processes function within the environments people inhabit and their relationship to behavior that matters beyond the research setting.
