The special section seeks research applying optimization models, algorithms, and decision-making techniques such as multi-attribute and multi-objective decision making to design and implement sustainable supply chains. Contributions should explore how operations research can support stakeholder engagement in sustainability policymaking, innovative practices for resource management, and mechanisms for monitoring progress toward SDG targets across different economic contexts.
