This collection examines how different forms of state capitalism interact with entrepreneurship across international contexts, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. Following a period of state withdrawal through privatization, governments are increasingly intervening in enterprise, creating new institutional arrangements that affect how entrepreneurship develops and operates.

The collection investigates the mechanisms linking state capitalism varieties to entrepreneurial activities, including entrepreneurship within established corporations, the emergence of hybrid state-private ventures, and relationships between new ventures and state-influenced corporations. The focus is on understanding how these shifts reshape the institutional environments in which entrepreneurship occurs.
