This Special Issue invites interdisciplinary contributions exploring how emerging technologies like AI, AR, VR, XR, and others dynamically shape consumer emotions, eventually influencing identity and behaviour. The issue welcomes theoretical, empirical, and methodological paper submissions from consumer behaviour, consumer psychology, human technology interaction, digital media, and related areas.

The focus is on exploring the mechanisms, processes, and consequences in the context of technology-enabled emotion engineering. Additionally, discussions are encouraged on consumer autonomy, well-being, and broader implications of emotionally engineered consumer behaviour.
